We cordially invite all friends and fans of postcrossing to a meeting which will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 12.00 o’clock, at the PVA EXPO Letňany Exhibition Grounds, Prague. The Sberatel / Collector fair is the largest meeting of collectors of post stamps, coins, but also, for example, of old postcards or advertisement posters in Central and Eastern Europe. It takes place every year at the PVA EXPO Prague-Letňany Exhibition Grounds, this year from September 3 to 5. The last year´s meeting was attended by the founders of post-crossing, Ana and Paul, and they have been invited this year as well.
The Postcrossers´ Meeting will be held in the conference area of Hall 6, where visitors will be able to make use of desks, chairs and a computer/printer setup, so that they can send postcards right from the exhibition site. And there will indeed be something to send!
Postcrossing stamp
The Czech Post has issued an official stamp on the occasion of the Postcrossers´ Meeting, which will have its premiere at the Sberatel / Collector fair.
It will be available throughout the duration of the event at the Czech Post´s stand; when it is over, you will be able to buy it, for example, in the Stamp Shop of the Main Post Office, Jindřišská 14, 110 00 Praha 1.

Throughout the three days of the fair, the information kiosk will sell a special postcard dedicated to Postcrossers´ Meeting at the Sberatel / Collector fair. You will thus be able to create your own carte maximum – affix the stamp on the front of the postcard and stamp your postcard with a special cancellation (postmark) which will also be available at the fair.

You will get the special cancellation free of charge at the Czech Post´s stand on Saturday, September 5. You can have any postcard, letter or parcel that you will bring with you stamped. It will of course be an attractive souvenir for any post-crosser to whom you will send a postcard directly from the exhibition site.
