Futuristic Tatra 603 on the official Czech coin

The legend of automotive design Tatra 603 is a novelty in the series of silver commemorative coins issued by the Czech National Bank. The original detail on the commemorative silver coin is an embedded element in the colour of the black paint of the car body. The coin has a nominal value of CZK 500 (21 EUR) but sells on the open market for up to 6 times more. The modern six-seater limousine Tatra 603 was built at the Tatra Kopřivnice plant in the former Czechoslovakia and had its official premiere at the 1958 EXPO World Exhibition in Brussels. More than 20,000 cars were mass-produced between 1958 and 1975. The original coin will definitely be on sale at one of the numismatic dealers at the autumn Sberatel / Collector Fair!
