The stamp with the new Czech president almost sold out on the first day

The newly elected Czech President Petr Pavel did not want to be on the stamp at all, given the new style of politics he wants to pursue. In the end, he entrusted its design to a collective of young artists and the result is a sheet of ten stamps in a pop art style. Each of them has a different, specially named colour to refer to things connected with the Czech Republic. For example, with the dark red colour that was typical for Jawa motorcycles. The interest in the new stamps surprised the President’s Office and the Czech Post itself. On the first day alone, almost 80% of the 100 000 sheets were sold. But where will it be possible to buy the stamp for sure? Of course at the autumn fair Sberatel / Collector in Prague!
