The auction organized by the firm Antium Aurum on October 6 in the Carlo IV. hotel in Prague will offer very attractive coins and medals. The auction catalogue, which focuses mainly on the periods of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and pre-war Czechoslovakia, will contain, for example, the “10 Ducat” of which just a hundred were produced in the Kremnica Mint in 1951 and whose starting price is 70,000 €, the “2 Ducat” which the same mint produced in a batch of 186 pieces in 1938, which starts at 60,000 €, or the “1 Ducat 1575HS”, the only exhibit which received the high MS 66+ rating from NGC. The auction can also be attended on-line; you will find the auction catalogue here.
