Investor spent CZK 12 million on a diamond ring

The ALO Diamonds jeweler´s shop sold a diamond ring worth CZK 12 million, one of the most expensive rings ever sold in the Czech Republic. The white gold ring has a five-carat white diamond surrounded by smaller stones. According to Alojz Ryšavý, jeweler and ALO Diamond´s owner, the ring was purchased as an investment item. As a matter of fact, sales of investment jewels worth several millions of Czech Korunas apiece, are increasingly frequent. According to statistical data, one in every four Czechs buying jewels does so for the purpose of making an investment.
